Job Description:
Location: Districtwide
Anticipated Start Date: Upon Hire
District Position (Calendar is 202 days)
Daily Schedule: M-F 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Reports to Director of Special Services
Works collaboratively to provide targeted behavioral support and intervention for students with identified behavioral needs.
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Certified by BACB
Licensed in Connecticut
Master’s degree in Psychology/Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
A minimum of two years of experience working with children with special needs
Expertise in the field and knowledge of autism spectrum disorder
Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Functional Behavior Analysis and Behavior Intervention Plans
Experience working in a public school setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior and VB MAPP assessments preferred
Able to utilize PMT with appropriate training
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with non-behavior analytic providers and team members
Salary Range begins at - $70,000, based on experience
