The Meriden Public School District seeks applicants for a long-term substitute special education teaching position in the PRIDE/Early Intervention Program.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a valid, grade-appropriate, State of Connecticut Special Education teaching certificate, which must include Pre-K (endorsement #112 or #113). Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and experience with children on the autism spectrum disorder or related social pragmatic developmental disabilities preferred. Experience with functional behavioral assessments and behavior plans, familiarity with early learning and development standards (ELDS).
Salary:
$135.00/day for the first 39 days; then BA Step 1 on Day 40
