Job Description:

Bloomfield Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Applied Behavior Analysis Assistant (ABAA) w/STEPS at Arace. Interested candidates must have prior experience working with autistic children or appropriate training. 
 
Work Year: Ten-month position 190 days (including 9 holidays)
Work Week: Thirty-two and a half (32.5) hours per week

Qualifications/ Responsibilities: 
    Associate degree or equivalent
    Provide assistance to mandated students under the supervision of special education teachers   
    Experience working with students with Autism in a classroom environment
    Ability to present material in a clear and efficient manner
    Ability to help organize content area information
    Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavior programs for students with autism under the direction of a special education teacher
    Ability to relate to students, teachers, and staff in a positive and effective manner
    At least two years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis/Discrete Trial Intervention
    Ability to implement complex Behavior Intervention Plan
    Ability to take direction from supervisor, teacher, BCBA, and administration

Hourly Wage: $22.45 - $24.92 (Dependent upon experience)
