Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters in the content area
Must possess or be eligible for one of the following CTSDE Certifications
(071) School Social Worker
 
Period of Employment: School year position
 
Reports to: Director of Special Services
 
Position Summary: To help students resolve personal, emotional, and social problems interfering with their adjustment to school and their ability to benefit from their educational experience. Analyze information gained through record reviews, behavior, and performance data, and interviews to determine appropriate resource needs.

Salary: Salary, work year, and working conditions will be in accordance with the current contract between the Board of Education and the Suffield Educators Association.
