Job Description:

Bacon Academy seeks a special education paraeducator who will primarily support the SOAR program. The SOAR program (Supported Opportunities for Achievement and Resilience) serves students with social/emotional needs both within the program classroom and within general education classrooms. The program seeks to provide a supportive environment for students to process challenges as they arise, gain effective coping skills, and receive academic support.

Qualifications:
     High school diploma or GED and
          Minimum of 2 years of college credits (60) or
          Associates degree or
          Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
     Successful experience with children, preferably in a school setting
