Job Description:

Bloomfield Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Instructional Assistant for Special Education at Carmen Arace Middle School.
 
Work Year: Ten-month position (190 days)
 
Work Week: 32.5 hours/week
 
Hourly Wage: Dependent upon experience
 
Qualifications   
:  Skills and knowledge Minimum - Associate’s Degree or equivalent and some experience in working with children;
:  Ability to handle and treat information confidentially;
:  Ability to work with students in a classroom environment and capability to follow teacher and related staff instructions in regard to work modifications and behavior plans;
:  Ability to present material in a clear and efficient manner;
:  Ability to help organize content area information;
:  Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavior programs for students under the direction of a teacher; and
:  Ability to relate to students, teachers, and staff in a positive and effective manner.
