Job Description:
The Bloomfield Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Applied Behavior Analysis Assistant (ABAA) to provide assistance assigned to the Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School.
Responsible for assisting and supporting teachers in regular and/or special education classrooms.
Interested candidates must have prior experience working with autistic children or appropriate training. Applications will be accepted from qualified local candidates for the position of Applied Behavior Analyst Assistant (ABAA) for students with Autism.
Qualifications/ Responsibilities:
Associates Degree or equivalent
: Provide assistance to mandated students under the supervision of special education teachers;
: Experience working with students with Autism in a classroom environment;
: Ability to present material in a clear and efficient manner;
: Ability to help organize content area information;
: Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavior programs for students with autism under the direction of a special education teacher;
: Ability to relate to students, teachers, and staff in a positive and effective manner;
: At least two years experience in Applied Behavior Analysis/Discrete Trial Intervention;
: Ability to implement complex Behavior Intervention Plans;
: Ability to take direction from supervisor, teacher, BCBA, and administration.

Effective Start Date: ASAP
Salary Range: $22.85 – $26.53 (Dependent upon experience on the BFEP salary schedule)
