Job Description:
An experienced administrative assistant is needed for the Special Education Department at the Central Office. The position is available August 4, 2025.
This is a full-year, twelve-month position.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma
Post-secondary education or training and three years of experience in education or five years of secretarial experience in other fields; or graduation from a recognized school of secretarial skills and three years of successful job experience.
Formal training in and/or job experience with word processing and Excel.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Ability to be flexible and respond to changing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with faculty, staff, and families.
Previous experience in the field of special education is preferred.
The wage classification is Bookkeeper, which has a weekly salary beginning at $1,336.19.
