The core responsibilities of a Webb School Teacher include:

  • Work with interdisciplinary team to develop curriculum, manage the milieu and communicate in the psycho-educational environment.
  • Work with multidisciplinary team to support development of behavior support plans and FBA’s. Implements aforementioned plans.
  • Responsible for educational assessments - formal and informal
  • Participate in the school’s evolving culture
  • Serves as student advisor
  • Reports to the principal

There are specific qualifications necessary for our Teachers to have at time of hire:

  • Current CT teaching certification (065) in Special Ed and/or specific curriculum area with ability to be DSAP
  • Experience in similar setting preferred
  • Understanding of child development
