Position Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Reports To: Interim Director of Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services, Interim
Director of Curriculum and Instruction for General and Special Education
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Required Certifications & Qualifications
Licensed in the state of Connecticut Department of Health as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Preferred Qualifications
Substantial experience working in a public school setting
Experience in providing professional development to staff
Demonstrated strength in positive and proactive approaches to working with students and families
Essential Skills, Knowledge Performance Abilities
Conduct various assessments including Functional Behavior Assessments
Design and oversee implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians
Design and manage appropriate data collection systems
Oversee in-district development and implementation of behavior management plans
Collaborate with school and district staff to develop and strengthen Autism programming
Develop individualized student programs
Maintain program data, including graphs of student progress on program targets
Provide training to school staff and parents on a regular basis
Participate in team and PPT meetings
Provide written progress updates and complete IEP progress reporting
Ensure that data is collected and analyzed with fidelity

Terms of Employment
Salary Range $69,000-$99,000, commensurate with experience
