The paraprofessional will work with a variety of students including multiple handicapped and autism. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special and/or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skills instruction and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.

 
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the skills to assist the teacher in all school activities with students with multiple needs.  Applicants must be able to support student instruction, record data as needed, lift up to 40 lbs., utilize behavior management techniques and complete all other assignments as directed by the teacher or administrator.  Applicants must be able to work independently and adjust to schedule changes.
