This is a 10-month position assisting the classroom teacher in helping physically, mentally and/or educationally disadvantaged students learn skills that will broaden their learning experiences and contribute to their development in order to set high expectations and to assist in creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning for all students. The Administration is seeking applicants qualified by education and experience to carry out the duties assigned to the position and in general, to establish and maintain a high level of standards of excellence in the Vernon Public Schools.

Salary: In accordance with the Paraeducator union agreement, the 2024-2025 pay ranges from $17.62 - $21.20 per hour, based on prior educational experience.
