POSITION SUMMARY
Manchester Clinical Day School is looking for a hands-on, energetic Special Education Teacher or Science Teacher to work as a member of our team. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring science instruction for students with a range of academic abilities. Additional key responsibilities include maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment as well as effectively implementing behavior intervention strategies. This teacher will also maintain close contact with parents/guardians, share a leadership role in creating a caring and academically challenging environment, and provide supervision for Teacher Assistants. The successful teacher will demonstrate a deep understanding of the learning process as well as have the knowledge and skills to teach an array of science classes. Exceptional interpersonal skills are a must. Experience teaching middle and high school science classes is highly desired.
When applicable, the school will pay educational costs associated with ARC programs leading to dual certification. Candidates eligible for DSAP are encouraged to apply.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be certified special education teachers or have a (034) certification as a General Science Teacher.
