Job Description:

Special Education Teacher 1.0 position is available at Valley Regional High School. CT certification 165 (or equivalent) is required. Candidate will have a strong understanding of reading instruction, behavioral interventions and inclusion practices at the high school level. Experience working with a wide range of service providers and support staff to meet the needs of diverse learners is preferred. Position requires student case management, close collaboration with families and development of community based opportunities for students to meet transition goals documented within IEPs.
