Teachers for 2024 ESY Special Education summer program, summer school site location TBD.

The district is seeking Special Education teachers for the following grade level positions:

Pre-K Special Education

DLC & IRR Grade K-1

Voices Grades K-1

Resource Grades K-2

Voices Grade 2

Resource Grades 4-5

Voices Grades 4-5

DLC Grades 4-5

Programs Grade 7

Programs Grade 8

Programs Grades 9-12

The Special Education Summer School classes will be held from July 8 through August 1, 2024, Monday through Thursday, from 8:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. each week.   Applicants must hold a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with endorsement in Special Education (065, 165, 265). Strong familiarity with appropriate special education teaching strategies and techniques. 

A wage of $49 per hour will be paid.
