OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
NON-AFFILIATED POSITION
POSITION: Physical Therapist, .80 FTE (4 days per week, 147 days per year)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete screenings and perform evaluations for 504 and IEP's
Conduct assessments, analyze results, and complete written reports in a timely manner.
Develop IEP goals and benchmarks that appropriately address students' individual needs
Provide high-quality physical therapy interventions
Actively communicate and participate in school, program, and/or student meetings
Consult with teaching teams to develop and implement curriculum accommodations, modifications and appropriate classroom strategies
Complete daily documentation
Participate in and facilitate professional development
Routine inspection of therapy equipment, order supplies, and maintain inventory
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Successfully completed and graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by APTA
State of CT license by the Department of Public Health
Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
AVAILABILITY: August 20, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter

SALARY AND BENEFITS: $68,000 - $72,000, commensurate with experience
