Job Description:

Somers Public Schools currently has an anticipated opening for a Special Education Teacher at Somers Elementary School. The special education teacher serves as a guide and model to the student learning process. The teacher should challenge each student to his/her highest potential. The teacher will enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and Board policy which govern student conduct. The teacher will provide to parents or guardians a review of the student’s progress. The teacher will implement that portion of the instructional program for which he/she has been specifically assigned

Qualifications:

•Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college
