Job Description:

Ellington High School is hiring a full time Special Education teacher who will work with students in academics, social and emotional areas. This position requires a candidate who can multi-task and is able to work with a multi-disciplinary team as well as families. This candidate should enjoy working with students with anxiety and difficulties with accessing their classes with non-disabled peers. Additionally, this candidate should enjoy developing positive relationships with a high level of student engagement. It is important for this candidate to be able to problem solve and provide a high level of communication with families and other faculty.

Qualifications:  Applicant must hold a valid appropriate Connecticut teaching certificate.  A state and national criminal check will be required as well as a DCF search.
