Broad Function:

Summer 2024 Extended School Year (ESY) Speech Language Pathologist

ESY programs July 8-August 1/August 2, 2024

In person: 

Elementary Academic M-Th 9-11 

Elementary High Needs M-F 9-12

Secondary M-F 9-12

Staff hours are 15 minutes before and after program hours. 

# of hours/week depends on student need

July 1-5, 2024- up to 4 hours of prep time during this week

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide direct individual or small group to address students’ IEP goals/objectives

Establish a productive learning environment and classroom culture

Maintain timely student attendance and progress records

Consult with other service providers to address student needs

Engage as a partner in planning and problem solving

Performs other related duties as requested by the ESY Coordinator or Supervisor of Student Services and Special Education

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must hold current certification in Speech/Language Pathology.  

Current experience working with students demonstrating a range of academic and social learning needs is preferred.  

Applicants must be committed to working the entire ESY session.

Salary & Compensation:

$63/hour
