Broad Function:
This position serves as a support for ESY classrooms July 8-August 2, 2024.
Elementary Academic M-Th 9-11
Elementary High Needs M-F 9-12
Secondary M-F 9-12
Staff hours are 15 minutes before and after program hours
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support to ESY students under the supervision of the onsite BCBA
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
Provides support using behavior management techniques and intervention strategies to reduce behaviors that interfere with the learning process
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior
Effectively communicate with staff regarding student progress
Utilize safe & appropriate procedures when working with students
Maintain student confidentiality
Assist in preparing student materials as instructed
Collaborate with team including special education teacher, related service staff, paraprofessionals, BCBA and co-workers
Qualifications and Experience:
RBT Certificate
Current experience working with students demonstrating a range of academic and social learning needs
Applicants must be committed to working the entire ESY session.
Salary & Compensation:
$25/hour or current rate of pay if higher than $25
