Job Description:

Special Education Teacher - Linden Street School

Special Education Connecticut Educator certification is required. This position requires strong skills in developing specially designed programming for students with disabilities within the least restrictive enviornment. Collaboration with general education teachers and a multidisciplinary team of service providers, parents and community based supports, and expertise in diagnostic assessments are also essential.

Primary responsibilities include diagnostic assessments and planning, facilitating implementation and monitoring progress of targeted interventions to ensure access to the general education curriculum, IEP development and implementation with detailed data collection, differentiated and modified instruction, and behavior management.
