Job Description:

Coleytown Middle School is searching for a School Counselor to join a talented team of educators meeting the needs of all students. The qualified candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of School Counselors and related service staff as well as the entire school community in meeting the needs of all students.

Qualifications:                      

Appropriate Connecticut Certification Required (068); and

Ability to counsel students to foster their academic and personal development; experience with DBT preferred; and

Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, school administrators, and parents to support the needs of all students; and

Previous middle school counseling experience preferred.

Starting Date:                        August 22, 2024

Salary:                                    According to the Teachers’ contract (2022-2025)
