Social Worker/Psychologist – Early Childhood

MINIMUM                                        CT Certification: (071) School Social Worker or (070) School

QUALIFICATIONS:                       Psychologist.

DESCRIPTION:                               The ESY Social Worker/Psychologist assists students in making the most effective use of the educational process and environment through systematic social emotional services for students, parents, and the school community.  Provides counseling services to the participating parents, students and families utilizing crisis intervention skills to activate all resources within the school and community to deal with critical situations. Provides social skills instruction as determined by the individual student education plans.

RESPONSIBLE TO:                        Building Administrator

WORK PERIOD:                             July 1- 25, 2024   M-TH 8:00a – 12:45pm (part-time)

                                                        AND

                                                        July 1 – August 8, 2024   M-TH 8:00a – 12:45p (part-time)

                                                         Set Up Day:  June 28, 2024/ Holiday July 4

FILING DATE:                                March 18, 2024 (priority deadline for internal candidates)                                           

SALARY:                                          $60.00 per hour
