East Haddam Public Schools is seeking a special education teacher to work with students within our 18-22 year-old program. This program is designed to provide students with disabilities learning environments and activities to meet their post-secondary outcome goals in the areas of employment, independent living, and post-secondary education. A successful candidate will be well versed in transition services and regulations, be able to meet the needs of a student’s individual education program, and be able to develop and foster relationships with local and regional organizations and entities to support students in  achieving their goals. .  Connecticut certifications in Special Education, #165 or #265.
