Job Description:

POSITION: Occupational Therapist

PROGRAM: Special Education Summer School - ESY

SCHOOL: Sandy Hook School and Newtown High School

DATES: 6/24/24 – 7/25/24 Monday - Thursday

REQUIREMENTS:  CT licensed and registered

 Pediatric experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Duties include: direct services to students to improve, develop, restore, or maintain

student’s active participation in self-maintenance, work, leisure, and play in educational

environment

 Conduct appropriate evaluation of students

 Provide direct and indirect OT services in educational setting

 Collaborate with professionals involved with student including parents/family activities
