Westbrook Public School

Westbrook Middle School Paraprofessional (2 Positions)

Hours:  6.25 hours per day ; 31.25 hours per day

Minimum requirement:

            - Associates Degree or passing score on ParaPro test

            - Preferred experience working with students

            - Provide assistance to students under the supervision of special education teachers

            - Ability to work with special education students in a classroom setting and ability to follow teachers and related staff instructions in regard to work modifications and behavior plans

            - Strong behavior management skills

            - Ability to present material in a clear and effective manner

            - Ability to help organize content area information

            - Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavioral programs
