EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR 2024
NON-CERTIFIED VACANCIES
The Farmington Public Schools Extended School Year (ESY) programs are designed to provide eligible students with disabilities reinforcement of skills acquired during the regular school year. Eligibility for participation in ESY is determined on an individual basis through the PPT process and is based on various factors, including the specific needs of the student and whether there is a strong possibility a student will lose skills, or have difficulty recouping skills, after an extended period of time without summer instruction.

Dates
June 27, 2024 Orientation / Set-Up Day (8:30am - 1:30pm) – required for all paraprofessionals
All programs (other than Grs. K-8 SLC): July 1-25, 2024 (M–Th)
Grs. K-8 SLC: July 1 – Aug. 8, 2024 (M–Th)
Hours
Assigned by teachers to assist with student arrival and departure
PreK, SLC PreK and Gr. 1-8+ Academic Support: 8:00am - 11:45am or 8:15am - 12:00pm
FHS Credit Recovery: 8:45am - 12:00pm or 9:00am - 12:15pm
FHS Summer Place: 8:45am - 1:00pm or 9:00am - 1:15pm
Grs. K-8 SLC: 8:15am - 1:30pm or 8:30am - 1:45pm

Rate of Pay: $22.99/hour (Temporary, summer positions do not include benefits.)
