Job Description:

POSITION TITLE:                 PHYSICAL THERAPIST - 2024 Extended School Year (ESY) - Grades K-12 - (2 AVAILABLE POSITIONS)

LOCATION:                           WEST BRISTOL SCHOOL

DEPARTMENT:                      NON-BARGAINING

REPORTS TO:                        DIRECTOR, SPECIAL SERVICES

SUMMARY:                           Develops, implements and coordinates a physical therapy program within the local educational agency (LEA); providing screening, evaluation and intervention services.  Knowledge of physical therapy principles, theory, methods and evidenced based practices.  Physical ability to execute job responsibilities that may include transferring and/or lifting students or equipment.  PTs will provide services during ESY in accordance with students' Individualized Education Plans.

LICENSE:                              Current physical therapist CT licensure

EDUCATION:                        Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program

DATES:                                   July 8, 2024 - August 8, 2024

WORK HOURS:                    Monday - Thursday, 8:30AM to 12:00PM

*Orientation:                6/25/2024 (9-11:30am)

*Staff Prep Day:          6/26/2024 (8:30-11:30am)
