NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION:                           

Paraeducator, Special Education, TEMPORARY

Full-Time (Non-Union Position)

LINKS Academy at Eastbury

*The location of your assignment is subject to change based on student needs in the district.

WAGES:                               

$22.91 per hour

SCHEDULE:                        

Monday through Friday

31.4 hours per week

DUTIES:                               

Responsible for the support of students receiving Special Education services across school environments. Duties include supporting students with academic tasks; implementing behavior intervention plans; facilitating social interaction with peers; data collection. 

Assists students in self-care areas as needed, including but not limited to personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, dressing, mobility and lifting.  Performs related duties as required or as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:            

Ability to relate well to students with disabilities, to follow a schedule with flexibility to changes.  Must be able to assist students in self-care areas, which may include lifting. Good communication skills are required.  

STARTING DATE:             

ASAP thru April 30, 2026
