Job Description:

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for a Paraeducator for Cromwell High School. The paraeducator will work with a variety of students with disabilities and will also potentially work in the school library part of the day. This involves supporting students in all aspects of their day and the ability to work in diverse classroom settings under the direction of the special/and or regular education teachers which may include therapy activities, toileting, lifting, field trips, life skill instruction, and all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal. Position starts ASAP.

Requirements:                 Associates degree, 60 college credits, or a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment.  Experience working with children is preferred.

Compensation:               $22.75 per hour, 30 hours per week (7:45 am to 2:15 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, sick and personal time, health benefits, eligible for a pension (see contract for a complete list of benefits).
