POSITION:                           

Special Education Tutor, Part-Time (Non-Union)

Glastonbury Transition Academy at Eastbury

10-Month Position, 18 hours per week

WAGES:                               

$25.50 per hour

DUTIES:                               

Assists teaching staff by providing instructional support to students in small groups or individually. Under the supervision of the teacher, perform classroom duties associated with the education and behavioral management of students.

QUALIFICATIONS:            

Bachelor’s degree required.

The ability to engage students, work well in small groups and follow teacher’s instructions. Good communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate easily and work well with students and staff.
