Job Description:

East Windsor Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified special ed teacher to serve as a long-term substitute in our Transition Program (ages 18-22) from Mar-Jun 2026. Students spend the majority of their time on work sites. They also receive classroom instruction on vocational and independent living skills. A weekly grocery trip is a regular part of the schedule.

Teacher responsibilities include:

adhering to the job site schedule

supervising students on their job sites

supervision of three Job Coaches and one paraprofessional

scheduling PPTs and conducting evaluations within mandated timelines

writing IEP progress reports

writing IEP goals/objectives and transition planning

regular home-school communication
