Job Description:

West District Elementary School is seeking a temporary Special Ed Paraprofessional for approximately 12 weeks.

Work hours 8:30 am - 3:30 pm per school calendar. Due to the temporary nature of the position, it does not include benefits.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should hold an Associate's degree or 2 years of college or its equivalent (ParaPro Assessment)
Candidate should demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain good rapport with students and teachers and possess a personal relationship with teachers.
Candidate must have prior experience working with school age children, preferably with special needs.

The paraprofessional will provide a variety of instructional services and classroom support to staff and students.This includes carrying out teacher prepared lesson plans and supervising teacher-planned activities, assisting in the preparation of materials for instruction, and recording individual progress of students.

START DATE:  March 23, 2026

SALARY: $140 per day
