Job Description:

West Hartford Public Schools seeks a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude for a full-time job coach paraprofessional at the Post-Secondary Program. Looking for a highly motivated person who would love to work with students (18-22 years old) to support them with independent living, vocational and transition goals. This position offers a lot of variety to the day.  Lifting, walking, and other physical duties are associated with this position. Candidate must be flexible, reliable, and must easily demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. This is a 10-month position with full benefits. Prior experience preferred.

Paraprofessionals are expected to exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness to job responsibilities at all times.

Requirement: High school education or GED.
Salary: per paraprofessional contract.
