Job Description:

Location:  Harwinton Consolidated School
Schedule: 7.25 hours per day

Reports to: Building and Department Administrators

Behavior Technicians will assist, tutor, and instruct students who present with behavioral and/or mental Health needs. The Behavior Technician will assist with the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by a BCBA and/or Special Education teacher. Additionally, the Behavior Technician will assist with the implementation of Special Education programming. Behavior technicians assist with core academics, executive functioning skills, and student care. They have the unique opportunity to contribute to positive educational outcomes by working as part of the outstanding team dedicated to educating our students. 
  
Certified Behavior Tech or Registered Behavior Tech OR
Participation in an additional 40 hours of training for Behavior Techs

Beginning wages:  $21.75/hr
