Job Description:

Ellington Public Schools is seeking applications for multiple full-time special education paraeducators, Grades K-12. Candidate should have Physical Management Training (PMT), or be willing to participate in PMT training. Seeking a skilled individual to support social skills, life skills, and academics.  A candidate should have knowledge of de-escalation techniques as well as the ability to support students in early readiness skills.

Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma required. Candidate will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check as well as a DCF search.

Working Conditions: This position is a contracted 10-month position with benefits and follows the school calendar.
