Job Summary: Candidate will work with students with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment. Ellington Public Schools prides itself on "where children come first", which includes expectations of highly skilled teachers who create an engaging environment for students and families.

Qualifications: Candidate must have knowledge of special education laws and instructional interventions for students with and without disabilities. Candidate must have knowledge of and worked with the Early Learning Development Standards (ELDS), the PPT process, as well as IEP development and interventions.  Applicants must hold a valid CT teaching certificate with an endorsement in Comprehensive Special Education (#165) or Integrated Early Childhood/Special Ed (#113).  A state and national criminal history report will be submitted, as well as a DCF background check.
